About the project.
Connections Network is a consulting organization that helps professional women in all stages of their careers network through meeting sessions and discover their own individual next step using Personality Dimensions™ profiling. I came to the Connections Network website through my work as an outsourcing contractor for Dana DiTomaso. Connections Network wanted to convert an existing HTML site to one powered by WordPress, as well as add a little more polish to the site’s look-and-feel.
Project scope.
This project required fairly straightforward development of a simple custom WordPress theme with dropdown menu navigation and plugin integration. Using elements from the client’s existing branding, which suggested a very simple, clean and minimalistic design approach, I put together a WordPress site that combined a blog and an events calendar plugin alongside standard information pages about the business. I worked closely with Dana to satisfy the client’s specifications and expectations in terms of the design and layout of the site.
