About

Business Approach

I love Edmonton and have lived in the area virtually all my life. Edmonton is a place where independent businesses and entrepreneurs continue to thrive as a vital part of our community. From restaurants, cafes and bars to tradespeople and contractors to practitioners of the arts to retail stores and beyond, I believe that every small or independent business in our city should be able to afford a professionally-made website and creative marketing services without breaking the bank. To this end, I built my business philosophy on 4 key principles, and aim to deliver on them in all my projects and business relationships.

Professional

As an independent contractor, I will apply my 15 years’ experience in many aspects of the industry to deliver work product comparable with that of larger agencies and design houses. I want my clients to take pride in their brand and their online image. I want to understand each of their unique needs and what makes their business tick. Above all, I want to build lasting working relationships with my clients and to see them succeed!

Affordable

I offer professional service at fair and competitive market rates. Every client is unique and I’m able to negotiate rates on a client-by-client basis. Whatever the size of your project, together we will come up with a plan that fits both your vision and your budget. I believe in honest billing practices, fair estimates and providing exceptional value.

Flexible

I enjoy the freedom and flexibility freelancing offers, and that translates to flexibility for my clients. It is important to me that my clients feel supported. I’m happy to meet outside of traditional business hours on evenings and weekends, and I’m totally mobile, so I can meet you anywhere in and around the city. I’m always connected to my e-mail and phone to respond to client questions or technical issues in a timely manner. I’m happy to work with clients remotely by phone and online if they are outside the Edmonton area.

Versatile

With substantial experience in many areas of marketing communications, I’m proud to offer my clients a diverse range of services. Although websites are the “meat and potatoes” of my business, a great website needs great copy and I can help with that. I’ve also had a lot of fun working on print projects like promotional posters and CD/DVD packaging, as well as a role in organizing and promoting popular community events like the Edmonton Music Collectors Show. I’ve dabbled in video production. Being self-taught, I see every project and new challenge as an opportunity to broaden my skill set and expand my range. In short, I’m ready for whatever challenges my clients throw at me!
